What is ‘Harvest for Hope’?
Bethlehem Inn is launching its second Harvest for Hope, a fall food drive running from November 1st to December 15th to support our meal program. Your participation ensures participants at Bethlehem Inn receive three nutritious meals a day, and that we can continue to offer food boxes to community members in need.
How do I start?
You can get started today by clicking the link below to start your own drive or by touching base with our team at Bethlehem Inn. We have a limited number of collection boxes (seen below) that you can request for your organization. These boxes are a great way to draw attention to the drive and they’ll look great in your office! If you are unable to grab a box from us, you can use the materials in the link below to create your own drop-off box location.
What is the impact?
- We currently serve over 100,000 meals a year between our Bend and Redmond campuses.
- We serve up to 10 families and 112 single residents at any given time at our Bend Campus, and 31 single adults in Redmond.
- This last year, we were able to serve 1,016 different people, including 78 families.
- Bethlehem Inn provides personalized case management services to help residents address the root causes of their homelessness. This includes assistance with:
- Employment Resources: Job search assistance, resume building, and interview preparation.
- Housing Navigation: Guidance in finding and securing stable, long-term housing.
- Life Skills Training: Workshops on financial literacy, budgeting, and other essential skills.
- Access to Healthcare: Connections to medical, dental, and mental health services through partnerships with local providers.
